Things have gone very quiet since the Kitzmiller decision. The Intelligent Design movement has been sidelined as a political force and, to date, there has been no serious attempt to justify in any real sense the claim that ID is scientific. There must be many, who were swayed by the pseudo-scientific musings of Dembski, Behe and others, who must be feeling a little let down.

Is there anyone out there still prepared to justify the premise that Intelligent Design is or can be considered a scientific subject?

Anyone who would like to write a post on this subject is invited to submit it (you can email the text to alan_fox_(AT)*hotmail.com *(change (AT) to@) and I will post it, subject to the rules of polite discourse.

I see that you have joined the "Association of Non-Practicing Bloggers". Given that the current thread on "I'm from Missouri" demonstrates that you are the only practicing member, why do you maintain this membership?

I have to congratulate you. While your thoughts and mine differ on the major subjects posted on this blog, you present yourself well and do not rant or insult your commenters. I would suspect that this blog will grow in readership.

So I am not a real non-censoring blogger because I won't allow gossip about my private affairs. What a lousy jerk.

This blog has been around for over a year but is now teetering on the brink of extinction. This blog is now averaging only about 10 visits per day. I think that Alan Fox should accept my feeble offer (my own blog averages only about 40 visits per day, though I have high averages of time per visit and page views per visit) to help him revive this blog. My help would of course be dependent on his remaining a member of the Association of Non-Censoring Bloggers.

Well since Kitzmiller IDists have opened the biologic institute. Dr Behe has put out another book exposing Darwinism for the crap it is, and sales of "Of Pandas and People" have increased.

Ya see the Kitzmiller decision only impacted a small and insignificant district in PA. And it has been shown to be bogus.

Well since Kitzmiller IDists have opened the biologic institute.

And (assuming the intent is to demonstrate the scientific credentials of ID) as soon as some genuine testable scientific hypotheses emerge...

Dr Behe has put out another book exposing Darwinism for the crap it is...

Assuming for the moment, for the case of argument, that Behe's "new" book "exposes Darwnism", you need positive testable hypotheses proposing an alternative to ToE. "Darwinism is crap" is not evidence for ID.

...and sales of "Of Pandas and People" have increased.

A much stronger argument for ID, than the others you advance. :P

Ya see the Kitzmiller decision only impacted a small and insignificant district in PA.

Other school boards seem reluctant to challenge the ruling.

And it has been shown to be bogus.

How, to whom and by whom?
